Our Careers Convention is held every 2 years, so after a thoroughly successful event in Jan 2008, we are eagerly awaiting 2010. The Convention is a great opportunity to talk direct to the PROFESSIONALS and we cover a wide range of professions on the evening, inviting an excellent field of local delegates as well as, thanks to Facebook and Friends Reunited, a fine number of Former Students.

Our cast was much younger than previously and we have always encouraged students and parents attending to ask delegates about how they have succeeded in their career, how they have made decisions and how they have kept ahead of their peers. For those at school at Bablake still, a final career choice is less important than knowing how to stay ahead. Work on what you enjoy and are good at.

The event is hosted in the EDM and Languages block between 6pm and 9pm. Students are free to attend all or part of it and talk direct to the delegates! Parents are welcome but students are also able to attend on their own, if they wish.
