Everyone is full of advice for those choosing their University, but there is no golden formula. After all, can there ever be a definitive 'best of...' list for anything?!

You may consider any or all of the following:

• Course- reputation, assessment, flexibility, content, length, placement.


• University- reputation, location, accommodation, facilities, part-time employment.


• Location- type (i.e. city/ rural/ campus/ UK/ abroad), facilities, accessibility, security, expense.

A recent survey asking students the key factor in their University choice found:
46.5%- Course content
30%- University reputation
25%- Location

Don't forget to visit all the Universities on your checklist. You will be living there for 3 or more years and must feel at ease.
